JOHN PINCURA

Outstanding quarterback who led Lorain High to Little Big 7 titles
in 1922 and ’23. Continued as top signal-caller at Kiski Prep (1924) and
Penn State (1925-27), where his career was capped by being named
All-East and Honorable Mention All-American. Was steadying influence
for his brothers to become fine athletes. Also exercised his courtroom
skill as a high school and college football official and longtime sailing
referee.
