At 5’4″, 145 pounds, considered best little man in Lorain Bowling Association history.

Finished 2nd in all events to Ned Day in 1948 ABC tournament, averaging 228 pins; top ABC money winner in 1948.

Member of 1944 Cleveland Linz Recreation team which won National eliminations for berth in World team challenge matches.

Helped Linz team to 1944 and 1947 Central States championships; 1944 Linz team bowled record 3,278.

In 1942, teamed with Hank Andorka for 1,399 in winning Inter-City Doubles title; top L B A games were 300 and 298.

Held Elyria Bowling Association series record (764) for 10 years; had L B A’s highest series in 1947 and 1948 with 744 and 741.

Channeled energy as dedicated bowling instructor in Lorain junior leagues for many years.
