EARL (Mac) McCASKEY

While he was an all-around athlete at Warren Harding High and Mt. Union College, he found his niche in coaching. Winningest coach in Lorain High football history, compiling an 82-37-5 mark with two unbeaten years and one mythical Ohio championship from 1924-36. Guided three Big 7 titles and six in the Lake Erie League. Four of his products became college football captains. Admitted to Mt. Union Hall of Fame in 1966. All told, his career grid coaching mark at the varsity level was 107-42-6.
