Christensen, Love, Harris, Vaughn 2020 Uland winners
Seniors Chase Christensen and Madilyn Love of Clearview High School, along with seniors Ta’Lia Harris and Joseph Vaughn of Lorain High School, have been named winners of the 2020 J. Ed Uland Award scholarships by the Lorain Sports Hall of Fame. The awards recognize the outstanding male and female scholar-athletes from each high school in the city of Lorain. The selection process is based on demonstrated excellence in athletics, academics, leadership, and community service. Each of these areas is considered of equal value and importance in making the selection. The students selected must be seniors. Congratulations to this year’s four winners. Uland Award winners normally are announced at the LSHOF Enshrinement Banquet in May, but the 2020 banquet had to be postponed because of the Covid-19 virus pandemic.
