Ludwig “Tiny” Pincura – (1973)

Outstanding Lorain High football tackle and track weightman; named All-Little Big 7 League gridder three straight years; third in 1926 state shot put.
Starred in football and track at Kiski Prep.
Earned nine letters for Western Maryland College Terrors, three each in football, lacrosse and boxing.
Named All-Maryland tackle, 1929-31; picked as outstanding tackle on 1930 All-East team; instrumental in 28 straight grid wins at Western Maryland College.
Eastern inter-collegiate heavyweight boxing champ, 1931; advanced to finals of U.S. Olympic tryout qualifier at Penn State U.
Had pro football experience with Portsmouth Spartans and Syracuse Americans; served 52 months in U.S. Army, exiting captain.
